On 13th April 2024 Highland Prone Paddler James took on the SUPTwelve event in Torquay. Organised by Brendan Prince the event took place on Broadsands Beach just outside Torquay. James took to the water alongside 80 SUP paddlers.

The event consists of a lapped 3.5km course where the aim is simple. Complete as many laps as you can in the 12 hours. Each lap you jump off your board go through the transition area, eat, drink and then head back out. How long you rest is up to you.

James completed 23 laps or 80.5km in the 12 hours to win the Prone division. To see what James went through check out the SUPTwelve Prone Experience race video below.
